2024-2025 END-OF-YEAR RESULTS OF VAS STUDENTS
High School Graduation Exam Results

- 100% of students passed, with 95% achieving “Good” or “Excellent” rankings.
- Average graduation exam score was 0.3 points higher than HCMC’s and 0.4 points higher than the national average.
- 9 out of 10 subjects scored above the HCMC average.
- The highest average score achieved by a VAS student was 9.17, up 0.09 from last year.
- Results are comparable to top-performing provinces nationwide, such as Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.
- 100% qualified for English exam exemption (with IELTS certificates); among the 78 students who opted to sit the exam, 43% scored “Good” or “Excellent” despite this year’s challenging test.
Scholarship achievements

As of May 2025, VAS students have made their mark on the global stage, earning 187 prestigious scholarships worth over 7 million USD (more than 200 billion VND), marking a nearly 30% increase compared to 2024. These scholarships come from a wide range of top-tier universities both in Vietnam and internationally, including several globally renowned institutions:
UNITED STATES:
- Johns Hopkins University (#6 in the U.S., a leader in biomedical education)
- University of California (#30 in the U.S.)
- Trinity University (#40), DePauw University (#46), Earlham College (#75), and Knox College (#83) — all ranked in the U.S. National Liberal Arts Colleges list (Rankings according to U.S. News & World Report 2024 & 2025)
AUSTRALIA:
- University of Sydney (#2 in Australia, #18 globally)
- University of New South Wales (#3 in Australia, #19 globally)
- Monash University (#5 in Australia, #37 globally)
- University of Adelaide (#8 in Australia, #82 globally)

Cambridge Programme Results

Cambridge English Program (CEP): Grades 1-12
- 852 students (47.2% of the total student) achieved A*-A grades for English.
Cambridge Academic Programme (CAPB) & Cambridge Academic Programme International (CAPI)
- Grades 1-8: 1,123 students (29.5% of the total student), achieved all A*-A for English, Maths, and Science.
- Grades 9-10: 228 students (35.1% of the total student) achieved all A*-A for at least 4 IGCSE subjects.
- Grades 11-12 (CAPI): 73 students (25.4% of the total student) achieved all A for at least 3 AS Level subjects and all A*-A for at least 3 A Level subjects.
Note: A*-A is the highest range of grades
National MOET Programme

- 100% of students advanced to the next grade level.
- 100% of Grade 12 students qualified for the National Graduation Examination and university admission.
- 33 students who achieved the highest academic results in their grade levels were awarded the VAS Talent Scholarship, with a total value of over VND 1 billion.
- 10 students were honored with the VAS Changemaker Award for their outstanding contributions to the community, with a total value of VND 150 million.
Competition Achievements

In the 2024–2025 academic year, VAS students earned an impressive total of 2,428 awards from competitions ranging from district to international levels.
Among these were nearly 522 international awards from prestigious academic competitions such as the World Scholar’s Cup, SIMOC, SEAMO, IMC, SASMO, AMO, GJMAT, and GJMOC, as well as talent-based contests including the Grand Opus Piano Competition, Asian Pacific Dance Competition, Asia Arts Festival, and FISO – Future Intelligence Students Olympiad.
