2024–2025 Cambridge IGCSE & AS/A Level Results

Total of 731 A-A grades in AS-A Level & IGCSE exams

AS-A Level:

  • 240 A-A grades*, a 26% increase compared to 2024.
  • 11% of VASers achieved straight A*-A grades in all subjects

IGCSE:

  • 491 A-A grades*, accounting for 28% of the total score.
  • 16% of VASers achieved straight A*-A grades in all subjects.

High School Graduation Exam Results

2024–2025 National High School Graduation Examination Results​

  • 100% of students passed, with 95% achieving “Good” or “Excellent rankings.
  • Average graduation exam score was 0.3 points higher than HCMC’s and 0.4 points higher than the national average.
  • 9 out of 10 subjects scored above the HCMC average.
  • The highest average score achieved by a VAS student was 9.17, up 0.09 from last year.
  • Results are comparable to top-performing provinces nationwide, such as Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.
  • 100% qualified for English exam exemption (with IELTS certificates); among the 78 students who opted to sit the exam, 43% scored “Good” or “Excellent” despite this year’s challenging test.

As of May 2026, VAS Grade 12 students have been awarded 154 scholarships worth approximately USD 6.47 million by universities across 9 countries: the United States, Australia, Canada, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam.​

These offers include scholarships from many of the world's leading universities, such as the NUS, NTU Singapore, University of Toronto, Monash University, RMIT University, University of Rochester…​

United States: University of Michigan, University of California San Diego (UC San Diego), Arizona State University (ASU), University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), University of Minnesota, and many others.​

Canada: University of Toronto, University of British Columbia (UBC), University of Alberta, University of Ottawa, and many others.​

Australia: University of Sydney, Monash University, Adelaide University, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), RMIT University, and many others.​

Cambridge Programme Results

Cambridge English Program (CEP): Grades 1-12  

  • 669 students, accounting for approximately 38.8% of the student population, achieved A*-A end-of-year grades in English.​

Cambridge Academic Programme (CAPB) & Cambridge Academic Programme International (CAPI)

  • Grades 1-8: 1,012 students, accounting for approximately 26.2% of the student population from Grades 1 to 8, achieved A*-A end-of-year grades in all three core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science.​
  • Grades 9-10: 329 students, accounting for approximately 44.8% of the student population, achieved A*-A end-of-year grades in at least four IGCSE subjects.​
  • Grades 11-12 (CAPI): 99 students, accounting for approximately 32.5% of the student population, achieved all A grades in at least three AS Level subjects and A*-A in at least 3 A Level subjects as end-of-year results.​

National MOET Programme

  • 100% of students advanced to the next grade level.
  • 100% of Grade 12 students qualified for the National Graduation Examination and university admission.
  • 33 students who achieved the highest academic results in their grade levels were awarded the VAS Talent Scholarship, with a total value of over VND 1 billion.
  • 10 students were honored with the VAS Changemaker Award for their outstanding contributions to the community, with a total value of VND 150 million.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, VAS students shined across all honor rolls, securing over 2,600 awards in local, national, and international competitions.

Primary:​

  • 193 International Awards - an 80% increase year-on-year​
  • 56 International First Prizes - an 81% increase year-on-year​
  • 684 HCMC City-level Awards - a 28% increase year-on-year​

Secondary:​

  • 122 International First Prizes - a 77% increase year-on-year​
  • 312 Total International Awards across 85+ global competitions​
  • 516 National-level Awards - a 132% increase year-on-year​
