High School Education
Programme (Grade 9-12)

The High School from grades 9 - 12 in VAS allows students to keep following the study pathway that they pursue in the Secondary level or transition to the new one.
National Program (MOET) and Cambridge English Program (CEP). The outputs of this programme include High School Diploma of MOET and Certificate of English IELTS 6.0+
National Program (MOET) and Cambridge Academic Program (CAP). Students study the IGCSE Programme from Grade 9 to 10.
After completing 10th Grade, they can follow CAPI or CEP pathway from Grade 11 to Grade 12.
Cambridge Academic Programme International – CAP International (Fully integrated Cambridge programme with selected Vietnamese subjects), starting from 9th Grade to 12th Grade.
After completing 12th Grade, students can obtain degrees and certificates from both programmes, including Cambridge International AS and A Level qualifications and the High School Diploma from MOET.
Curriculum
National Secondary Programme (MOET)
The National Secondary Programme is an optimal version of the programme that is promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training. The programme is streamlined and applies Active Teaching Method to maximize positive, proactive and creative qualities of secondary school students via different learning modes to help students develop logical, creative, analytical, synthetical, practical and presenting skills at a higher level. Above all, students will master knowledge of each grade level more easily and effectively.
For the CAPI pathway, students will study the following subjects under the MOET programme includes Vietnamese Literature, Civics Education, History, Geography, Education of National Defence and Security, Technology and additional topics such as Maths, Science, Informatics, Technology and Education of Economics and Law.
The Learning outcomes and qualifications of VAS are recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training and have equal validity with those in the top public schools of the national education system.
Cambridge Academic Programme (CAP & CAPI)
From grade 9, students study the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), which produces successful students, giving them excellent preparation for their next steps in education, including progression to AS and A Level study, and equips them with skills for immediate employment. The programme covers 5 subjects, including: Math, English, Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business or Global Perspective (optional for students). Upon completion of grade 10, students will sit for the examination and be awarded the IGCSE certificate by CAIE.
From grade 11, students study AS and A Level Programme. At the end of grade 12, students sit for the exam and be awarded A Level certificate by CAIE, which is globally recognized worldwide.
Cambridge English Programme (CEP)
The Programme comprises of 2 subjects:
- English for Speakers of Other Languages by Cambridge English Language Assessment (ESOL)
- ICT (Cambridge based)
At the end of grade 10, students sit for the Cambridge English tests and are awarded with FCE Cambridge English Certificate, which is equivalent to B2 Level of the Common European Frame Work of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and widely recognized in the world. Students may also sit for the IELTS test at this stage and are expected to achieve IELTS scores of 5.5 - 6.0.
At the end of grade 12, students sit for the Cambridge English tests and are rewarded with FCE or CAE, equivalent to B2-C1 level of CEFR, or expected to achieve IELTS score of 6.0 - 7.0
