In Grades 9 to 12, VAS High School allows students to either continue with the same study pathway they chose in Secondary School or transition to a new one.
High School education programmes
IGCSE (Grade 9-10) and AS/A Level (Grade 11-12) integrates select subjects from MOET Education Curriculum
Cambridge Programme - IGCSE (Grade 9-10)
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is highly academic and challenging, including: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology and Art related subjects, Social science related subjects, Physical Education, Foreign languages.
→ Upon completion of grade 10, students will sit for the IGCSE examination and be awarded the IGCSE certificate by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), subject to their successful graduation.
Cambridge Programme – AS and A Level (Grade 11-12)
The programme is a 2-year curriculum. During the first-year students study a range of subjects at Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS Level). In the second year, they study for the Cambridge International Advanced Level (A Level).
→ Students will sit the AS Level exam at the end of grade 11 and A Level exam at end of grade 12 and be awarded Cambridge AS and A Level qualifications upon successful completion of these exams.
MOET Education Curriculum
Students will study selective subjects and additional topics under the MOET education programme.
→ At the end of grade 12, students are fully equipped to take part in the Vietnamese high school graduation exam and eligible for the graduation assessment under the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Cambridge Programme - IGCSE (Grade 9-10)

→ Upon completion of grade 10 under the study pathway CAP, students will continue their education in grade 11-12 following study pathway CAPI or study pathway CEP.
MOET Education Programme
The MOET programme continues to foster the essential competencies, qualities, awareness and citizenship ethics in students.
The learning outcomes and qualifications of VAS students are recognised and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training and have equal validity with those in public schools in the national education system.
Cambridge English Program (CEP) combined with MOET Education Curriculum
Cambridge English Programme (CEP)
The Programme comprises of the following subjects: English for Speakers of Other Languages, ICT or Digital Literacy, Enterprise (Grade 11), IELTS Preparation.
→ At the end of grade 10, students sit for the Cambridge English tests and are awarded with FCE Cambridge English Certificate. Students may also sit for the IELTS test at this stage and are expected to achieve a score between 5.5 and 6.0.
→ At the end of grade 12, students sit for the Cambridge English tests and are awarded with FCE Cambridge English Certificate. Students may also sit for the IELTS test at this stage and are expected to achieve an IELTS score between 6.5 – 7.0.
MOET Education Programme
Alongside the compulsory academic subjects and educational activities such as Vietnamese Literature, Math, Physical Education, Education of National Security and Defense, etc., students will be able to select 4 subjects that are best matched with their future career directions.
→ Upon the completion of Grade 12 Programme, students will take part in the MOET High School Graduation Exam and be awarded MOET High School Graduation Diploma and a certification of formal education completion.
A Level
The Cambridge AS and A Level Qualifications accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) is internationally recognised and is considered as a passport for students to gain admission into leading universities around the world, including universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Netherlands. A number of top universities in the USA provide first year credits to students for their achievements in A Level study.
