The 2024–2025 graduation exam results reaffirm the resilience, adaptability, and exceptional capacity of VAS students in the face of sweeping changes introduced by the Ministry of Education and Training’s 2018 General Education Curriculum.

- 95% graduated with "Good" to "Excellent" rankings.
- The average score of VAS students was 0.3 points higher than Ho Chi Minh City’s and 0.4 points above the national average, on par with top-performing provinces such as Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.
- 9 out of 10 subjects scored above the Ho Chi Minh City average.
- Over 50% of exam scores were within the “Good” to “Excellent” range.
- The highest overall average score reached 9.17, an increase of 0.09 points from last year.
- 100% of VAS students qualified for English exam exemption with IELTS certificates. Of the 78 who chose to take the exam, 43% achieved “Good” to “Excellent” results—far surpassing the national rate of 15%, despite the more challenging exam this year.
Commenting on this year’s results, VAS System Principal, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan, shared: “We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements in this transformative academic year. In preparation for this major curriculum shift, the school implemented a wide range of innovative strategies - from reinforcing student-centered teaching methods aligned with competency development, to conducting mock exams in the new assessment format, personalizing revision pathways, and most importantly, fostering a culture of continuous and sustainable learning.”
She added: “These encouraging results reflect not only the academic growth of our students but also their resilience and adaptability to changes, qualities that are equally evident across our dedicated faculty, academic management members, and school leadership. This collective commitment forms a solid foundation for us to continue our path of educational innovation and reaffirm our pioneering role in the successful implementation of the 2018 General Education Programme.”
Once again, congratulations to all VAS students for these proud achievements, and best wishes for continued success in your next academic journey!
