Grade 5 VASers Transform into Young Explorers to Help Restore Human Civilization

This school year’s on-campus camping program for Grade 5 students was designed around a post-apocalyptic storyline, where human civilization has collapsed. In this context, the younger generation takes on the role of pioneers, working together to rebuild the world through collaboration and essential survival skills.

Throughout the journey, VASers became young explorers, learning and practicing key skills such as tent pitching, fire-making, water distillation, generating electricity, and decoding ancient messages.

A lovely moment captured

Students showed great excitement toward this year’s unique theme. They eagerly joined activities and even rushed to set up their tents before nightfall. Some humorously shared, “There might not be much clean water in this setting, so I’ll make sure to enjoy the water festival this afternoon!” Laughter filled the campus, wrapping up a productive day of “saving the world.”

The evening came alive with a creative fashion show using recycled materials, the “VAS – Night of Talent” performances, and a campfire gathering. Students sang “Be the Best” together by the glowing fire alongside friends and teachers, creating unforgettable school memories.

Heartwarming and delightful student performances

Through VAS Camping 2026, students not only gained practical skills but also built confidence and became more proactive. It was also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen bonds with friends and teachers, creating lasting memories of their school years.

VAS believes these valuable experiences will become a strong foundation, helping students grow with confidence in both their studies and life.
