Behind every success are the foundations built over years. For Bao Tran, that journey began at VAS — where she honed her critical thinking skills, confidence in expressing her opinions, and collaborative spirit in a multicultural learning environment.

Those skills became crucial assets that led Tran to Australia, securing a 20% scholarship for three years at the University of Sydney – ranked #2 in Australia and #18 globally according to the QS World University Rankings 2025.

Alongside pursuing her major in Commerce (Finance & Business Analytics), Tran also dedicated time to internships and participating in major competitions, proudly winning two first prizes:

With her active spirit, confidence, and outstanding achievements, Tran received a job offer from Quantium (a leading data analytics and artificial intelligence company in Australia) starting in February 2026, after graduating in university this November.

Moreover, that is what VAS always strives for: not only nurturing knowledge, but also helping each student find their own path and confidently move forward on their journey.

At a recent online seminar hosted by the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS), education experts highlighted the importance of a “backward planning” mindset. This approach starts with the end goal and works backwards to design a suitable learning pathway from the very beginning.
