“Summer Enjoyment Day” – A Fun-Filled Summer Playground and Family Bonding Event Across All VAS Campuses
On June 20 and July 4, the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) successfully hosted the “Summer Enjoyment Day” across all six campuses. As one of the school’s signature summer activities, the event offered a vibrant, engaging, and enriching playground for students and families both within and beyond the VAS community.
More than just a seasonal celebration, Summer Enjoyment Day served as a meaningful occasion to foster community connection, encourage creativity, and promote holistic student development.
Amidst the festive and welcoming atmosphere, students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of activities, including:
- Exploring their artistic talents at the creative art corner
- Experiencing hands-on cooking through sandwich making, salad mixing, cookie decorating, and shaping traditional Vietnamese “bánh cam”
- Engaging in various physical games designed to improve fitness and reaction skills
Each activity was thoughtfully designed to support the development of students’ physical health, critical thinking, agility, and teamwork skills, while also providing joyful, relaxing moments with friends and teachers.
The event concluded with many memorable moments. Through initiatives like Summer Enjoyment Day, VAS continues to demonstrate its commitment to building a dynamic, creative learning environment that strengthens the bond between school, students, and families.
