GROWING UP WITH VAS – FROM KINDERGARTEN STUDENT TO NEW AVIATION GRADUATE IN CANADA

VAS is proud of Trinh Vinh Hung – a former student who spent 9 years at VAS from his early kindergarten years, and has now graduated from the University of Waterloo, Canada, with a Pilot Degree specializing in Geography & Aviation – one of the most prestigious training programs in the world.

Not only did he excel in his studies, Hung also received two prestigious scholarships from the University of Waterloo:

  • Entrance Scholarship – an entrance scholarship for outstanding students.
  • Faculty of Environment Award – a scholarship from the Faculty of Environment for students majoring in Geography & Aviation.

Currently, Hung's younger sister is also continuing her studies at VAS, demonstrating the family's unwavering belief in a comprehensive international educational environment.

Hung's journey is a testament to the values ​​that VAS always instills in each student – ​​daring to dream, daring to pursue their dreams, and having the courage to reach those dreams.

At a recent online seminar hosted by the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS), education experts highlighted the importance of a “backward planning” mindset. This approach starts with the end goal and works backwards to design a suitable learning pathway from the very beginning.
