VAS Community Joins Hands to Spread Love to Students in Central Vietnam
In solidarity with communities in Central Vietnam heavily affected by floods and storms, the Vietnam Australia International School community took part in the program “Pink Smiles - Supporting Students Back to School” organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, coming together to deliver caring gifts to teachers and students in disaster-affected areas.
After just one week of fundraising, VAS Ba Tháng Hai raised VND 91 million from teachers, staff, parents, and students to support Vĩnh Hiệp Kindergarten in Khánh Hòa province. In addition, the campus directly assisted Lê Trung Kiên High School and Trần Suyền High School in Dak Lak, contributing VND 10 million to each school, along with practical supplies such as teacher uniforms, notebooks, and stationery. These efforts helped share the burden and support schools, teachers, and students in stabilizing daily life and learning after the floods.

Representatives of the Diên Hồng Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed their gratitude on behalf of the committee to the VAS Ba Tháng Hai community, 10 December

Sharing the same spirit of care, VAS Sunrise organized a donation drive for books, learning supplies, and essential items including notebooks, pens, color sets, erasers, storybooks, and backpacks. With a total value of nearly VND 30 million, the contributions provided practical support and meaningful encouragement to teachers and students in affected areas.
Every contribution carries a message of love. VAS sincerely appreciates the companionship of parents and students on this meaningful journey of sharing. From these seeds of kindness today, a strong sense of community responsibility will continue to be nurtured, spread, and grow within every VASer.
