VAS Film Festival 2026: Emotional stories brought to life by young talents
On the morning of May 13, the screening and awards ceremony of VAS Film Festival 2026 took place at VAS Sala Campus. The festival serves as a creative playground for VASers who are passionate about film and television.
This year’s literary adaptation filmmaking competition received 7 high-quality short films from 6 campuses across the VAS System. Beyond successfully conveying the messages and themes of the original literary works, these short films also reflected the students’ dedication, passion, and creativity for the “seventh art.”
After a thorough evaluation process by the judging panel, the most outstanding films and individuals were honored at the VAS Film Festival 2026 Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to the winning productions:
First Prize: “Chưa đỗ ông nghè đã đe hàng tổng” - Garden Hills Campus
Second Prize:
- “Nhật ký lửa đỏ” - Sunrise Campus
- “Mãi mãi tuổi hai mươi” - Sala Campus
Third Prize:
- “Hùng thiêng sông núi” - Ba Tháng Hai Campus
- “Gió lạnh đầu mùa” - Riverside Campus
- “Chị Dậu” - Hoàng Văn Thụ Campus
- “Giang” - Sala Campus
In addition, the School also presented 11 special awards across major categories, including:

- Best Makeup
- Best Original Soundtrack
- Best Poster and Standee Design
- Best Production Design
