VAS Hosts Charity Concert “Night & Flight”
On the evening of May 31, the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) Sala Campus was honored to host Night & Flight – a Spring concert performed by the International Choir and Orchestra of Ho Chi Minh City (ICOHCMC) to raise funds for the saigonchildren organization.
With the theme “Things Above,” the concert took the audience on a vibrant musical journey – from pop, classical, and contemporary pieces to iconic musical theatre excerpts. The performances delivered soaring emotions and carried powerful humanitarian messages.
Kicking off the show, the VAS Voices choir performed two opening pieces under the direction of Mr. Christian Feliciano and music coordination by Mr. Daniel Doyle. The emotional highlight of the night was a heartfelt collaboration between VAS Voices and the full ICOHCMC ensemble with the song Defying Gravity – a powerful anthem of belief and the boundless dreams of the younger generation.
With nearly 500 guests in attendance, Night & Flight successfully raised 107.7 million VND for saigonchildren – supporting underprivileged children on their journey to education and a brighter future.
More than just a concert, Night & Flight highlighted the power of music in bringing communities together and spreading kindness.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the artists, parents, guests, and students who helped make this a truly memorable nig
