Summer 2025 marks an unforgettable milestone for VAS campers as two enriching study-abroad journeys to Singapore–Malaysia and Australia have come to a close, leaving behind countless memorable experiences—and opening the door to new adventures ahead in the USA and Switzerland.

Singapore–Malaysia Journey: Sharpening Leadership Skills & Embracing Multiculturalism

This 7-day trip to Singapore and Malaysia offered not only amazing memories but also practical life skills. In Singapore, students attended classes and interacted with peers at the prestigious National University of Singapore (NUS), where they took part in in-depth sessions focused on developing leadership thinking and global awareness.
Alongside learning, the students explored famous landmarks like Jewel Changi, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and Merlion Park—getting a true taste of Singaporean culture and lifestyle. In Malaysia, Legoland and bustling shopping malls gave the VASers a chance to unleash their creativity, relax, and bond with friends after intensive study sessions.
Australia Journey: Discovering Culture, History, and Nature Down Under

During the 14-day Australian summer camp, students explored two iconic cities—Sydney and Melbourne. Through a one-on-one buddy program with local students at public schools in New South Wales, campers improved their English skills and experienced authentic Aussie culture firsthand.
In Sydney, they visited legendary sites like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and took in the vibrant Vivid Sydney light festival. The adventure continued in Melbourne with a mix of learning and discovery—roaming from the grand State Library of Victoria and the Parliament House to the colorful Brighton Bathing Boxes and the historic Sovereign Hill.
USA & Switzerland Journeys: A Global Gateway for Future World Citizens
Following these completed summer trips, VASers are setting off again in July for two more global adventures—14 days in the USA and 15 days in Switzerland. These trips are more than just travel—they’re stepping stones toward future academic goals, including study-abroad planning and scholarship opportunities at world-class universities.

In the USA, VASers will dive into 14 days of cultural and technological discovery - exploring iconic places like Hollywood and Silicon Valley, and visiting top-tier universities such as Stanford, UCLA, and Berkeley. Campers will also join hands-on workshops in areas like startups, filmmaking, and digital magazines, and receive a certificate of completion.
Switzerland’s capital city, Bern, sparkles at night
In Switzerland, the 15-day program features English immersion (up to 90% of all activities), creating a great space for language practice, building international friendships, and strengthening essential soft skills like teamwork and communication. Outside the classroom, students will discover the beauty of Europe’s rooftop—from the Alps and Lake Oeschinen to Bern and the magical Chateau de Chillon. Outdoor adventures like paddleboarding, ice skating, and hiking promise unforgettable moments. Plus, university tours and summer course certifications will help lay a strong foundation for future academic pursuits.
