VAS International Summer Camp in America: An Immersive Journey Through Education - Culture - History
After two exciting weeks exploring the East Coast of the United States, the VAS International Summer Camp 2026 officially came to an end. From the vibrant streets of New York City to Boston, the cradle of American education, VASers enjoyed an enriching journey that combined world-class education, cultural immersion, historical exploration, and invaluable real-world learning experiences.

Throughout the programme, VASers had the opportunity to visit four of the world's leading universities: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, Columbia University, and New York University (NYU). The visits provided valuable insights into university admissions, academic pathways, and future study opportunities abroad.

In New York, students explored some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square, Wall Street, SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown. They also toured the city aboard a Hop-on Hop-off bus, visited Madame Tussauds New York, and experienced immersive virtual reality at RiseNY, where they learned about the history and spirit of the city known as "The City That Never Sleeps."
In Boston, the journey continued with visits to Downtown Boston, the historic Massachusetts State House, and the John Adams Courthouse, where students gained a deeper understanding of the American judicial system. They also experienced local culture at the famous Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall.
The programme also featured two skill-building workshops. "Build Your Own Business", which introduced students to entrepreneurial thinking and business fundamentals, and "Digital Magazine", where they explored media, communication, and creative storytelling in the digital age.

The journey concluded with a heartfelt farewell celebration, where VASers reflected on their memorable experiences, enjoyed time with their new international friends, captured lasting memories, and received certificates of programme completion.
The USA East Coast programme also marked the final chapter of the VAS International Summer Camp 2026. Beyond visiting world-renowned cities and prestigious universities, the programme empowered students to build confidence, adaptability, and a global mindset. The friendships, experiences, and life lessons gained throughout the journey will remain valuable companions as every VASer continues their path of growth and future success.
