VAS Kindergartners Enjoy Their First Friday Fun Day of the New School Year

Marking two weeks since returning to school, VAS Kindergartners across 5 VAS campuses came together for their first Friday Fun Day of the 2025 - 2026 school year. Featuring a variety of fun games and hands-on experiences, the event created a lively atmosphere where children could build confidence, connect with their friends and teachers, and feel more comfortable in their new learning environment after the first few weeks of school. 

From tears to smiles 

For young children, the first days of school often come with a mix of new and unfamiliar emotions. Some may feel shy or hesitant as they adjust to a new environment, meet their teachers, and make new friends. After two weeks of learning and getting familiar with school life, VAS Kindergartners have become more comfortable and confident. 

During Friday Fun Day, the children happily joined games and activities with their friends and teachers. The teary eyes and shy expressions of their first days gradually gave way to bright smiles and a growing excitement for discovery. 

Learning through play and multisensory experiences 

Friday Fun Day featured a variety of age-appropriate games and activities for Kindergartners, including clay art, obstacle courses, sack races, robot control, fishing games, and other physical activities. 

Through these activities, children had opportunities to move, explore, and engage their senses while developing agility, coordination, dexterity, and responsiveness. Directly experiencing and interacting with their surroundings, while taking part in activities with their friends, also encourages children to develop communication and collaboration skills and build greater confidence. 

Bringing joy to every week at school 

With the encouragement and support of their teachers, the experiences from Friday Fun Day have become memorable moments for VAS Kindergartners during the first weeks of the new school year. 

Friday Fun Day will continue to be a much-anticipated activity for VAS KINDERGARTNERS, bringing more joy, new experiences, and beautiful memories to their everyday journey at school.
