VAS Kindy Students Explore the Magical World of TiNi World and Enjoy a Fun-Filled Cinema Visit

In April, VAS Kindy students took part in two exciting field trips—an adventure to TiNi World and a memorable day at the cinema.

These annual excursions are a signature part of the VAS early years experience, offering all students from Pre 0 to Pre 3 2–3 off-campus trips each year. The goal is to provide opportunities for play-based learning, real-world discovery, and the development of essential life skills.

Earlier in Semester I, students visited Happy Farm (Pre 1 – Pre 3) and joined a fun handmade workshop (Pre 0), bringing joyful and meaningful experiences to their learning journey.

Learning Through Play and Exploration

At the vibrant and interactive TiNi World, children immersed themselves in a wide range of engaging activities—from rock climbing, obstacle courses, and ball pits to dress-up play, cooking games, LEGO building, and superhero role-play.

In this diverse play environment, students expressed their personalities, created imaginative worlds, and connected with peers. Every game became a playful learning experience that nurtured physical, social, and cognitive development.

Cinema Visit – A Special Classroom of Emotions

The cinema visit brought another layer of meaningful learning

Alongside the excitement at TiNi World, the cinema visit brought another layer of meaningful learning. Animated films became an engaging medium for students to:

  • Discover lessons about bravery, perseverance, and friendship
  • Improve observation, listening, and emotional expression
  • Learn appropriate behavior in public spaces and share joy with classmates

These outings were more than just extracurricular activities—they were emotional and developmental journeys that supported students in becoming confident, curious, and compassionate learners.
