VAS Welcomes Nearly 8,000 Students Back to School for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

On the  morning of August 17, all six VAS campuses joyfully welcomed nearly 8,000 students back to school, officially kicking off the 2026-2027 academic year after an almost three-month summer break. 

From the very beginning of the school day, school leaders, teachers from both the Cambridge and MOET programmes, caregivers, and security staff were ready at the school gates to warmly welcome students and share their best wishes with them and their families for the first day of the new school year.

The first day back at school was filled with a whole spectrum of emotions. There were bright smiles as students reunited with their friends and teachers after the summer break, while some little ones arrived with shy expressions or teary eyes as they experienced their first day away from their parents at a new school. Above all, they were greeted by the warmth and care of their teachers, who were ready to welcome them with open arms and make their first day feel more comfortable and reassuring.

A new academic year has officially begun! VAS hopes that these joyful and energetic first days will set the tone for a successful year filled with meaningful experiences, memorable moments, and new milestones in every VASer’s journey of growth.
