Parents stories
VAS focuses on building a close relationship between families and school to create a comprehensive educational environment for students.

I was very impressed with the confident demeanor and English-speaking skills of VAS students, even though they are only primary students. I think the MC Training programme is excellent, helping students gain experience and develop soft skills from a young age.

What I appreciate most at VAS is that my children are cared for from A to Z, with attention paid to their meals and sleep. From the security guard and the homeroom teacher to the nannies, everyone remembers their names and understands each child's personality. I feel their love and warmth, similar to that of a family.

We could not be happier with Jordan’s progress at VAS. The opportunities the school has put in front of Jordan have been plentiful. We are really proud of Jordan for how he has taken those opportunities on his own responsibilities, and we have seen his development grow as a result of that.

I chose VAS because it is s a long-established school system. I believe my child will develop biliteracy in both Vietnamese and English here. Currently, I feel that my child is thriving and learning English every day feels like mother tongue to her. She enjoys it immensely.

In terms of cultivating students' moral values and caring for others through social activities, I realized that my children learned what the living values are and how to care for others. That is what I like best when sending my children to VAS.

During 12 years of study, I can say that my son never lies. He is a very decent and righteous person. He’s never cheated at any exams. Of course, we all have different purposes, different requirements, but in general we still want our children to become good citizens who would contribute to the society and the country in the future. As for me, VAS has met all the requirements.
The most impressive difference that makes VAS distinguished from other public schools is the teachers-parents meeting. At VAS there are one-on-one meetings between the teachers and the parents, which is just great for mutual sharing and understanding.
My children have been studying at VAS Hoang Van Thu Campus for 11 years now. They show improvement every day, not only in their studies but also in social communication. They are confidently talking and expressing their ideas and thinking with all teachers. They are also proactive in their learning and these are the things that I am most impressed and why I send my children to VAS.
I have a special feeling towards the school. My children have spent 4 years here and all that time their childhoods were cherished and, as a parent, I feel assured when my children study at VAS. I hope the school can always maintain its advantages as a healthy educational environment with teaching excellence and high nutrition quality.
My three most satisfying aspects of VAS: 1. So far, our family is so contented to see our child come to school happily, healthily, and actively. My child is comfortable with the environment 2. The close and friendly relationships are observed not only between the teachers and the students but also between the school and the parents 3. As I mentioned at the beginning, the curriculum is bilingual. My child can sharpen his Vietnamese language to maintain his origin whereas his English is improving to meet the needs of this era of globalization.
Before moving to HCMC, my husband and I did a lot of research to find a school that fits well with my child’s personality and my family’s expectation. While my child’s Vietnamese is somehow limited, his English is excellent, and he is very active.
Talking about my children’s improvement at VAS, I have to admit that each of them will have their own strengths but in general, they have all become self-reliant students. My children’s confidence has grown even more than expected. Their confidence is not limited to communication, but it also showcases in language use, in expressing their signature as well as in their own understanding of themselves.
