The most impressive difference that makes VAS distinguished from other public schools is the teachers-parents meeting. At VAS there are one-on-one meetings between the teachers and the parents, which is just great for mutual sharing and understanding. This enables the parents to discuss directly with the teachers in details their concerns and expectations of their children, and at the same time, the teachers can get to know more of the students’ strengths and difficulties. During the last 8 years, we have been updated about our son’s studying status and his behaviour and his communication at school through those meetings. It is important for us to be updated with his schooling information because he spends most of the day at school. In addition, VAS teachers are very thoughtful. Whenever my son has a problem, they promptly call and ask us to take good care of him and to be well-prepared the next time he goes to school.
