The teachers at VAS have strictly trained me to become a well-behaved person while as the same time kindly giving me my own space so that I could grow myself naturally. VAS nurtured my confidence, helped me develop my skills in dealing with issues, either for my work and my life. All the experiences I got from VAS would never be forgotten.

When deciding to let An Danh and An Vinh study at my old school, I just hope that all the experiences that I have had at VAS will also be the same with what my children are about to take in. From the shy boys, now they are much more confident, especially in communicating in English. There are many reasons for me to choose VAS and I myself am an eyewitness of my decision.
Director of a British and French consulting company Father of Binh Minh, grade 12
During 12 years of study, I can say that my son never lies. He is a very decent and righteous person. He’s never cheated at any exams. Of course, we all have different purposes, different requirements, but in general we still want our children to become good citizens who would contribute to the society and the country in the future. As for me, VAS has met all the requirements.

When my two children were in primary school, I was very pleased with the care from the homeroom teachers as well as nannies. When they entered lower secondary and upper secondary schools, what I was most satisfied with is the knowledge of the teachers at VAS. The VAS’s teaching staff are very young and dynamic; they always keep their knowledge updated which will then be effectively delivered to their students. Right now, my son’s in grade 12 and I find that what he’s been taught is completely updated in a fast-paced world. He has now received a scholarship and approvals from 6 over 14 schools that he applied for and we are still waiting for the responses from the other 8 schools.

In terms of cultivating students' moral values and caring for others through social activities, I realized that my children learned what the living values are and how to care for others. That is what I like best when sending my children to VAS.

In my point of view, to pick a good study environment for children does not mean that you choose the school with quality facilities or the learning programmes only. On top of that, I truly want to know how my children will be growing there and whether they will learn to become people of values? That is what I care the most.

National Head of Business Development Parent of Tuan Khai, grade 7 & Thuc Khue, grade 2
Five years studying at VAS has changed my first child in positive ways. He has become more independent and self-aware in both their studying and daily activities. I then made decision to enroll my second child in VAS. The most obvious change to my first child is that he used to be a difficult-to-bring-up child as a Kindergartener. He refused to eat or do anything by or for himself. Things have changed just after the first semester of grade 1 at VAS. He became independent. It means he got himself ready for meals at the meal time, prepared books before the school time, and put away his toys after playtime. At VAS my children have been taught not only how to gain the knowledge but also how to lead an independent life.
There has been 5 years since my children study there, I can see how my child grow up every day. He becomes more independent, self-learning and self-discipline in his daily life. Therefore, I immediately decide my second child to start learning in VAS. When in kindergarten, she was hard to raise. She couldnt eat or doing things by herself.
However, it takes only half a year until she went to first-class in VAS, she has turned completely different. Now she's independent, she eats by herself at right time, knows how to sort her books and things, arranges toys as order after playing. I can see VAS not only provide knowledge to children but also teach them how to be independent.
Chief Representative – Miramar Company Parent of Primary student Lam Lac Nghi, class 5.1
My daughter has acquired considerate useful knowledge since she got into VAS. She got updated about the most up-to-date events such as Ebola decease, HIV, which made us surprised during our conversation. Besides, she has been given chances to practice and develop her skills.
When learning in educational environment of VAS, my children gain so much knowledge. For instance, some issues happening like Ebola, HIV..., it was suprisingly that my child discussed those issues with me. In addition to the updated information, my child can develop her potential talent. She really loves painting and there're so many activities for her to take part in and develop her ability.
One thing most change my child when she's learning here is her self-confidence and the learning program also doesn't put her under so much pressure. Especially, this year VAS provides Cambridge program which benefit our family educational purpose - study abroad.

Our family has just been relocated in Vietnam from America. Three years of the international program abroad has given Binh Minh a strong foundation of English upon her coming back to Vietnam. Besides, her Vietnamese is adequately fine. We were looking for a duo program in which she could work on both her English and Vietnamese; after a lot of researches on educational institutions in HCMC, we made a decision to send our kid to VAS, the one that met our requirements, with reasonable tuition fee for a middle-class family like ours. After a few months, my child could adapt herself very well into the new environment, and the best part of all is that she, so much, loves going to VAS now.She enjoys going to school because the teachers here are friendly and the workload is proper for her age. Most of the knowledge is given at school, and a reasonable amount of homework is assigned every day. What I like about VAS is that it gives the kids a sense of healthy positive competition, if there were no competition, they would not be motivated to struggle to better themselves. On the other hand, an aggressive competitive environment would make them intensively competitive all the time without positive efforts.
Former Teacher Parent of An Thinh, class 1.2 & An Khang, class 8.2 Our family is fully satisfied with all the services that VAS provides. Yes, no complaints at all. Our kids are given good sufficient care with suitable and healthy schedule of studying, sleeping and dining. It is impossible to ask for something extremely perfect, and my family all enjoy the studying environment at VAS.

Even though it is only 3 months since my child has attended this school, he has told me many beautiful stories and memories he has here. For example, his teacher would teach and provide guidance to him until he fully understands the lessons. In terms of eating behaviors, the children at VAS are trained to be independent, know to queue, fill their own food, and serve themselves, not waiting for others to serve them as before. Lastly, children are taught presentation skills, for me, this is a very good skill that children need to learn.
Customer Service and Care Manager Parent of Nguyen Phan Thanh Truc, grade 5.2
Thanh Truc, from her young age, has been gifted with singing and dancing skills. But before, as I said, she was very shy so she was afraid to perform it in public. However, later on, when her talent had been discovered by Ms. Mai – a teacher from Tran Cao Van campus, Ms. Mai started engaging her in the singing and dancing activities of the school. My child became happy and enjoyed it so much.
Later, the teachers saw that she finally had the confidence so they started training her to be an MC. Now, at the school’s big stages such as the opening or the year-end ceremony, she always appears as the MC.
This year, she is in grade 5, I see that she has made remarkable progress in actively participating in learning and other activities with family and friends. That is what my family is very pleased with.

I decided to transfer my children from public schools to international schools because VAS possesses a more advanced education environment and facilities. I also plan for my children to study abroad in the future. That’s why I want my children to get acquainted with the international learning environment so that they will not be confused or struggle. Although they have only started to study here from the beginning of this year, the most visible progress I see is their ability to be independent. They love this school very much.
