Impressed by the excellent English skill of VAS students in the final round of The English-Speaking Contest 2022

This contest created a truly rewarding playground for students, allowing them to connect with friends, exchange foreign language experiences, practice critical thinking and English-speaking skill, and cultivate confidence and teamwork.

Although the Kindergarten and Primary students couldn't stand on stage and had to participate in the contest online via Microsoft Teams, they still successfully completed their presentation thanks to their fluent English-speaking skills and when conveying their message about the topic "Happiness, Health, and Well-Being”.

At the contest, the secondary students left a deep impression on the judges with their fluency in English expression and excellent critical responses around topics that are related to life such as: When it comes to a person's life, nothing is more important than health, mindfulness should be a compulsory subject on the school curriculum, or we need to take care of our health and the environment, so meat should be banned… Through specific evidence combined with confidence and great teamwork, our contestants have shown their intelligence, sensitivity, and knowledge to compete with friends through an extremely intense debate between the best contestants in the final round.
