Summer Program – Being a child painter

 

The children were excited and surprised when their teacher told them stories about the ceramic production process, the use and meaning of ceramic products in life. Not only did they acquire new knowledge, they could also have the chance to admire the beautiful products on display, observe artisans working on ceramic products.

The most exciting activity was probably decorating ceramic products. The students drew patterns, landscape and people on bowls for containing rice and small plates. These works will be glazed, baked in the oven and then sent home for each child, so they can use their own product.

Obviously, the fieldtrip by the Preschool Art Club was not only a creative playground for children, but also a chance for them to appreciate their own labor and products.
