English speaking contest 2013 - Ground of confident players

In the preliminary round, the contestants competed within their class. They presented topics given by their form teachers and foreign teachers. To get to the next round, the candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to speak English fluently and express their opinions convincingly. The two teachers of each class had to discuss carefully to select the best candidates because most of them are at the same level and speak English very well.

Round Two "Be the best you can be?" Is a fascinating round. Each contestant draw and answer questions at the request of the organizers with two minutes to three minutes to prepare and present. After the presentations, the judges and the audience posed two questions to each candidate. Both halls received many responses smart, witty and clever from the contestants. Many of applause rang out, many hours cheering. This really brings lively atmosphere for the examination.

The group finale was lots of fun and the most dramatic round. Two teams debated two topics given by the organizers comprising of "Teens & Social Networking" and "Teen Love at School". Each team sent four representatives to present their group's viewpoint. The other team prepared critical questions or made sharper arguments to score.

The English speaking contest 2013 was indeed a practical playground for students because through this competition, they would feel more confident about their English ability and presentation skills in particular. In addition, the competition also helped motivate students to learn and further develop their English skills.
