The joy of discovering was multiplied when they took part in the “Cooking Mom” event, which was a cooking-with-mom festival. The children were excited with their mother’s presence. In addition, the little students at Le Quy Don Campus also took part in the “Run Your Own Restaurant” project by going to a supermarket with foreign teachers and shopping for ingredients on their own to prepare a delicious and nutritious fruit yogurt for the hot summer days.

Thanks to the activities of the project, the kids learned more vocabulary about food ingredients. Seeing the real things for themselves, the kids learned accurate pronunciation from their expat teachers, which helped them memorize the words better, improve their confidence and understand more about the world around them such as the names of the fruits, nutrition values of a variety of plants, payment and teamwork.

The “Cook Project” has helped the kids learn and discover a lot of interesting things. The little cooks are now ready to help their mom cook for their family and appreciate what they eat every day.
