Visiting an extinct volcano in Dinh Quan

Departing from HCM City at 6:00 am, buses took more than 100 students to the foot of Crater 118 dating from 650,000 years, in Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai province. From here, the students had to trek a distance of two more kilometers to reach the crater about 200 meters above the ground. "When climbing, I was scared at first, but thanks to our teachers’ assistance we reached the destination safely," shared Phuong Linh, Class 8.5, adding that her friends were not afraid of getting dirty or tired since beautiful nature scenes were beyond their imagination.

After the geology fieldtrip in the morning, they participated in group activities in the afternoon and evening like dancing with bamboo sticks, shuttlecock, football, sack jumping, waterfall swimming, campfire and barbecue. "We had a white night chatting. We had a lot of memories of the trip," shared Huyen Vy, Class 9.3.
