2nd week of Online Summer Course - learn hard, play hard!

The 2nd-week activities include:

“TikTok dance” chose the “TikTok Cool” topic to update the popular trends combined with Aerobics moves in order for students to improve their movement following rhythms. The “Music movement” picked familiar songs with ear-catching melodies to guide students to sing, drum, and move along.

Students and teachers actively engaged in TikTok Dance and Home sport classes

“Danish decoration art” course taught students how to use clay to shape words, animals, flowers, and the human body. The “Decorating souvenirs” course used gravels to decorate pictures or living spaces.

Students were eager to learn new skills in creative classes

“Home cooking & Healthy eating” class taught students to make spaghetti with beef sauce. Students can make a delicious meal for themselves and their families after this class.

Science project-based learning course had gone through lessons on roots and trunks in the 1st week. In the 2nd week, students learned about the categories of leaves and their functions and other plants living in the water. The students of “Green living” course had obtained general knowledge of vitamins. They continued to go deeper into the functions of vitamins and the method of consuming vegetables that can maximize those functions. Students were also taught how to use vegetables to decorate food, to make salad and fruit yogurt.

One lesson – many outcomes. Students made their own products according to their interests and tastes

Science research projects class collected results from the fruit fermentation process implemented in the 1st week. They went to the project about scented wax – learning overall knowledge about candles and making candles from current materials.

About academic classes:

“Preparation for G1” guided kids to identify stuff locations, learn left and right drawings, and review what they learned in week 1. Kids were taught about responsibility in a community and the lesson of washing hands correctly, which is especially important in Covid-19 time.

The “Thinking and solving mathematically” course focused on studying graphs of the function. Students learned theories and then applied those into practicing to solve covariate and inverse functions.

In “The beauty of Vietnam linguistics” class, students learned theories and skills to apply to write argumentative essays.

The “General English” course had different topics across the grades. The Pre-beginner and Beginner learned vocabulary and ways to describe people, food, and animals. The higher grades (Intermediate and Advanced) went into topics that required more complex grammar structures and higher vocabulary ranges – topics about school life and future careers.
