Primary School – A choice for the future
Each grade level sees certain changes. At kindergarten, children learn through games to build skills, while the first grade program is a completely different approach which requires children to be more focused. According to research by professionals, in order for children to undergo a successful transition to a higher grade level, they need to be prepared with psychology, physical strength, concentration and thinking power, as well as become familiar with writing and a friendly and efficient learning environment.
To help parents have a comprehensive view and prepare psychology, learning environment and orientation for their children before they enter the first grade, Vietnam Australia International School organized a seminar on "Primary School – A choice for the future" presented by Ed.D. Phan Thi Thu Hien, one of the leading experts on Early Childhood Education focusing on such topics like tremendous and long-term impacts of childhood education, obstacles for children after leaving kindergarten for primary school, preparations for children to do well in primary school and so on. In addition, Ms. Phan Ha Thuy – General Principal of Vietnam Australia International School System also talked with parents about some of the new educational features in the Cambridge Primary Program to the A-level for high school students, multiple intelligences and teaching methods to promote multiple intelligences in primary school.

At the seminar, the school, parents and Specialist Phan Thi Thu Hien shared concerns and experiences in a friendly manner to provide parents with enough information to select the best educational environment which is a solid foundation for the future of their children.
