What did the children learn at VAS Summer Camp 2017?

VAS Summer Camp has entered its fourth week with exciting excursions, enjoyable lessons and hours of fun with challenging practice. Let’s enjoy the unforgettable time at VAS Summer Camp!

Exciting excursion

For the first time, students in the Third and Fourth grades were involved in new and exciting experience such as cable cars, horse riding, feeding ostriches, sailing, 5D movies and challenging sports games. With the theme of nature and cultural exploration, students also learned about the history of Vietnam at the Temple of 14 Heroes, about cultivation and breeding through vegetable harvesting and taking care of animals at the zoo ... It was an extremely interesting field trip at Ho May Resort, Vung Tau City!

Useful life skills

Are joy and sadness two very familiar feelings to you! So do you know how to face and solve the sorrows yet? How to recognize your relatives or friends are happy or sad and how to motivate them properly?

How to manage your emotions and take care of other people's feelings

Soft Skills and Life Skills sessions at VAS Summer Camp provide the students with a wealth of useful knowledge and experience on self-perception, emotion management, time and money management and problem solving which are suitable for all ages. Lessons are presented through narration, meditation, painting, games and visual props such as sand, rock, gravel ... to keep the students motivated and receptive.

Dynamic trainee

This summer, RMIT University, Saigon Tourist Vocational School and CGV Cinema will welcome new trainees from VAS. The Ninth and Eleventh grade students will be practicing skills learned through 3D drawing, folding table cloths and table decoration; keeping the soft drink full of gas or making hot buttered popcorn.

Do you recognize a common thing between an Order taker and a Business owner? They both try to please the customers with the quality of product, service time, prices and customer service.

We hope the VAS trainees will do the best even in the simplest job! Because all greatness starts with little things.
