Happy Tet, happy sharing

This Tet in particular, students at Vietnam Australia International School also shared their happiness by organizing charity trips and meaningful community services in the role of "philanthropic ambassadors" to extend Tet fun to less fortunate fellow countrymen.

In the light of this sharing program, a variety of activities were organized by students of Vietnam Australia International School. Starting with visiting a special school for students with disabilities, developmental delays or family difficulties in Can Thanh Village, Can Gio District. In addition to donating VND32 million and some clothes, students of Vietnam Australia International School also exchanged cordially with their peers by talking, singing and having fun through exciting magic acts.

The charity program continued with such 'happiness sharing' activities by Hoang Van Thu campus like visiting Di Da Pagoda (Di Linh, Lam Dong) to give gifts to poor children at a nursery home in Dang Dung Village and 100 poor Chau Ma ethnic minority families; visiting Lien Trung Elementary School (Cu Chi), Ky Quang Pagoda Orphanage, and Bo De Dao Trang Pagoda. Le Quy Don campus visited and gave supplies to the Tam Duc Shelter (District 4). Phan Xich Long visited and presented gifts to orphans and blind children at Nhu Nghia Home. Ba Thang Hai campus visited Hi Vong School (District 6), Da Thien Private School for students with disabilities (District 7) and Tu Hanh Pagoda (Binh Tan). By being « philanthropic ambassadors », not only did students of Vietnam Australia International School have a broader view of the world around them, but they also learned a lot about living values – values of love, respect, happiness, humility, simplicity and so on.
