Cambridge Professional Development Training Certificate Awarding Ceremony
Early July 21, 2013, at the Mega Campus of Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) - 594 Ba Thang Hai Street, District 10 - representives of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) awarded professional development certificates for more than 150 teachers who had completed training courses on teaching Cambridge International Program in the presence of Mr. Tran Quang Quy - Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Le Hong Son - Director of the HCMC Department of Education and Training.
In the world trend of integration, Vietnam's education sector has always been one of the industries that both creates a breakthrough in the integration process and preserves the traditional values of the country. In this context, thanks to the authorization and direction of the Ministry of Education and Training and HCMC Department of Education and Training, VAS has decided to implement the Cambridge International Program in parallel with the national programs by the Ministry of Education and Training.                                 
In early August, VAS will welcome nearly 40 foreign teachers with qualifications and international experience (tested by CIE) to teach the Cambrige program for all VAS students. In addition, to improve the quality of current teachers who need to achieve teaching standards for the Cambridge program, VAS was entrusted by CIE to organize the professional development programs for expat and local Primary and Secondary teachers of VAS and other schools in HCM City in Mathematics, English and Science.
