Scholarship achievements
Nguyễn Ngọc Linh Lam (12.G3) and Trần Ngọc Đông Nghi (12.G4) earned First Prize thanks to their highly persuasive presentations and exceptional strategic analysis skills.

The World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) 2025 has officially concluded at Yale University in the United States. The competition brought together more than 2,500 outstanding students from 67 countries and territories.

Among 79 new scholarship students nationwide, four students from the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) excelled among more than 1,000 applicants to win 50% scholarships worth over 526 million VND each.

On the morning of October 28th, RMIT Vietnam a special scholarship award ceremony for 07 VAS students at the Ba Thang Hai campus, celebrating their outstanding achievements. Earlier, RMIT organized scholarship ceremonies for all students on October 15 in Ho Chi Minh City and on October 18 in Hanoi.

At just 18 years old, Xuân Khôi earned admission to Johns Hopkins University, ranked sixth in the U.S., with an SAT score of 1580/1600, seven A* grades in IGCSE subjects, and groundbreaking research utilizing biomedical markers for early cancer cell detection.

A straight-A student, young inventor, and jazz music lover – Dao Hieu Phong’s talents and interests are as broad as his curiosity. Entering university, the RMIT scholarship winner hopes to continue innovating with user-centric technologies to benefit the community.

VAS Scholarship for Excellence recognizes students throughout the school system with the most outstanding achievements at each grade level. These students excel not only in the MOET and Cambridge programs but also by making their mark in academic and aptitude competitions at the school, district, city, national, and international levels.
VAS Campus Changemaker Scholarship aims at supporting students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the school community. It focuses on fostering leadership development, social entrepreneurship, and advocacy skills to empower the recipient students to drive meaningful changes.

Hoàng Xuân Nhã Uyên, a Grade 8H1 student from VAS Hoàng Văn Thụ, proudly earned the Gold Award in the Music category.


The ceremony marked an important milestone for Grades 11 and 12, where each Cambridge certificate represents resilience, excellence, and new opportunities for global learning and growth.

From Singapore, Thailand, and China to Dubai, VASers have shone brightly, showcasing their intellect, talent, and global ambition.

Tran Xuan Lam has won the Gold Medal in the Orchestra category, one of the most challenging divisions at the Crescendo International Music Festival & Competition 2025.

On August 15, 2025, outstanding students with excellent achievements in International, National and Ho Chi Minh City level competitions were honored at the Outstanding Students Recognition and Award Ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City, academic year 2024-2025, organized by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
