On October 30, 2022, Vietnam Australia International Schools (VAS) organized the “Green Day Run”, a road-running competition to raise funds for planting trees, at VAS Sala campus with the participation of nearly 2,200 students, parents, teachers, staff, and VAS partners. The competition’s goal is to protect Can Gio Mangrove Forest - the "green lung" of Ho Chi Minh City and its surrounding areas, and the world's mangrove biosphere reserve.
To become global citizens, VAS students are equipped with not only foundational knowledge and life skills but also love and responsibility to the community
The students in grades 10 and 11 had the opportunity to experience the beauty of the natural landscape, the beauty of the people in Da Lat through a 3 day and 2 night long expedition with the theme of "Dreaming about the Vast and Green Forest”.
The VAS GREEN DAY RUN is coming very soon. Are you ready? Up to now, VAS has received 2,071 registrations for the event, and the number of trees donated will continue to increase after the Organizer calculates the amount collected from the Fundraising Boxes at the campuses and at the event.

After nearly a month of launching, the Painting contest of the academic year 2022-2023 with the theme "What happiness means to you?" has received around 1000 submissions with numerous impressive artworks.
VAS Olympic is a professional and remarkable annual sports event initiated by VAS in 2015 to help students from kindergarten to secondary to display their talents and sportsman spirit, develop teamwork skills, and create bonds among students from all campuses. The event also allows students to familiarize themselves with international standards of professional sports competitions.
Field trip is one of the experiential activities included in the main course curriculum of VAS to help students practice life skills and enrich social knowledge. This school year, the primary students of VAS had a rewarding and fun trip to Song Long Tourist Area in Thu Duc City, which is also known by its nickname “a small Mekong delta”.
VASers in grades 8 and 9 had the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the landscape as well as learn about the culture, history, and people of Phan Thiet - Mui Ne through a three-day, two-night trip.
