VAS raises fund “For Our Beloved Central of Vietnam – 3rd time”

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, the Central region of Vietnam has been stuck by severe floods and landslides, causing heavy damage to the people, destruction of property and making their life even more difficult. The hearts of the nation have gone out to them in their time of need.

VAS is also in a position to offer its own assistance to help them to move forward, while at the same time educating our students to care and share for the community. We are asking for your donations that we make from our own staff, teachers, and school management teams of the whole VAS system, we are asking for support from you and our students. This is the third time we have held a charity call to support the Central region after the last two donation drives for Quang Binh and Khanh Hoa in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

The entire amount raised will be used to help schools rebuild and repair their damaged facilities, as well as to buy the necessary items for schools to resume their activities. Specifically, a representative team from VAS will contact the Departments of Education & Training of the remote areas from Quang Binh province to Hue city to get update information about their situations, visit and support those schools that suffered the most in order to help them address the damage and resume activities after floods.

Detailed information about the amount raised of departments and campuses, as well as the process and results of the project will be continuously updated on VAS’s official communication channels which are our Website and Facebook fan page.

You can give your donation to the Admission Office or Charity Boxes placing at campuses from Oct 21st to Oct 30th, 2020. Thank you in advance for your participation!
