To inspire the children, I think the most important thing is to find out and understand clearly about what we would like them to understand. After doing deep research, we must feel interested in what we are going to inspire the students to do. Then, we must understand how much the students know about the matter and how interested they are in it. From there, we can flexibly organize activities that fit and inspire them to explore and learn more.

Most of my students are preschoolers. Because students are first exposed to the studying environment, they often cry a lot. But for me, as long as I show them all my affection and caring to let them feel safe, they will love going to school.

Parents who send children to VAS must have confidence in the school and its teachers. I hope that parents could spend more time with their children, talk to their children, and discuss with teachers regularly so that teachers can better understand their children's behaviors at home because the students may behave differently at home and school. I believe that close communication between parents and teachers will benefit children's education.

I used to teach in the UK for two years. I see differences in students from different countries. Vietnamese students, especially VAS students, are very active in learning, participate more in extracurricular activities, and are more interested in discovering new things. As a teacher, it is a great opportunity for me to help my students get more excited about learning.

I feel that VAS is a friendly working environment, where there is always a harmonious bond between teachers and students, solidarity between teachers.
I think the Cambridge International Programme is a good preparation for students to study abroad. The Cambridge programme is completely different from the MOET programme, which helps children develop reasoning skills, logical thinking, and writing skills, in particular, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, establishing rigorously and theoretically arguments.
Every day with students is a surprise to me. Teaching kindergarten students is a wonderful thing when I can easily see their daily progress. We create the best conditions for students to learn English in all activities. I try to stay after school to talk to parents about their children's performance and to work together to help children feel comfortable in school.
Secondary Teacher | History
Most of the students do not love the history subject, this is the obstacle and also my biggest concern when entering to teach at VAS. Therefore, I always learn from my colleagues' experiences and self-study to renovate teaching methods and forms of testing and evaluation. In the class, I tell stories to students, let them play historical games, visit monuments, play-act ..., and I was amazed at VAS students' ability to create and occupy knowledge.

Each child has a unique gift, but to discover and develop them, we must explore, discover and foster their talents every day and hour. In my classes, I instruct and help them sing at the correct pitch, voice quality and when singing, they must show their best to integrate into that article.

As biology is the subject of life, I always associate theoretical knowledge with everyday practice to inspire students. Children will feel that the lessons are close to their daily life, thus developing excitement to learn.
There are two foreign students in my class. In the early days, the children could barely speak Vietnamese. In the early days, I tried to help the children speak every word and greet teachers in Vietnamese. After that, I have to teach two children separately by drawing a network map on the board about words, sentences, and paragraphs. After nearly two months, the student has made remarkable progress, and now they can communicate in Vietnamese.

I really like the methods of personalized education which is based on the foundation of respect. Each student is a different individual. They can absorb as well as have their own identifications. By applying this method, I can help good students develop their strengths and shine their passion. For slower children, I will propose the appropriate approach and requirements for them so that they confidently step out of their shells.
